Is $1300 too much for a king size bed,with an okay mattress.Shud I go for a pricey mattress and no box spring?
I can get a platform like bed for 399 and a very good sealy or stearn and forter king mattress for 1000...the one I am looking at the name of the mattress is revitalize and it comes with box spring etc and its not bad but not as good as the branded ones...I cannot afford higher than this.
How much do u think I should pay for the entire bed? Is around 1300 too much?
Most platform beds aren't made to take a box spring AND a mattress so I would recommend you just get a very good, thick mattress.
I recently got a platform bed myself and when I put my box spring and mattress on it, it was so high it was difficult to climb on! Then when I removed the box spring and slept on the mattress only, I woke up with horrible backaches every morning until I got a 4" thick firm memory Foam Topper for the mattress.
1300 for a king is reasonable...I paid more than that for my full not including the mattress.
